In a joint statement with the Ministry of Planning and Development, the group said an Education and Empowerment Programme for Climate Change Adaptation commenced in January 2021 through funding received from the Ministry of Planning and Development’s Green Fund.

The group said the programme was intended to be a two year programme across January 2021 to December 2022 but was later extended to March 2024 due to various challenges such as COVID-19 and other major setbacks out of IAMovement’s control.
