IAMovement is a non-profit organization which was founded in 2014 by a group of young people in Trinidad & Tobago who felt a strong common need to effect positive environmental and social change. We do so through activities and events to educate and empower others, raise awareness on key social, environmental and economic issues, and aim to be a platform for discussion and dialogue on important issues at a national level.Follow IAMovement on Facebook Follow IAMovement on Instagram Subscribe to IAMovement on YouTube
We are creating a beautiful, edible rooftop garden on the Ministry of Education building in Port of Spain. The highly visible garden design symbolizes functional beauty and will provide numerous benefits. This garden will function to increase respect for nature and agriculture in our education curriculum and provide natural inspiration to our education leaders. It will be the first of its kind in T&T.

Climate Talk takes the climate conversation forward in T&T. Under Climate Talk, the short documentary film "Small Change" produced by IAMovement is being shown in some 40 schools, organizations and public spaces throughout 2017, accompanied by interactive open floor discussions about the many social, economic and environmental benefits which T&T can experience by 'going green'. In line with the theme and content of "Small Change", these discussions centre much around renewable energy opportunities in the private and public sectors, as well as other very pertinent issues we face locally such as waste and recycling.
The project began with a partnership with the High Commission of Canada to Trinidad and Tobago during Phase 1, from January to March. IAMovement is excited to announce that The German Embassy has partnered to continue taking Climate Talk forward for the rest of the year under Phase 2, which will run from April to December 2017.
